Wavecomm performs development, design, prototyping, pre-series realization and product provision of custom antennas for dedicated applications. Our competence and experience is the following sectors:

In the following, some examples of antenna designs for our customers:

L-band planar array antenna, for passive radiometry (1.4 - 1.427 GHz), developed CNR-IFAC research institute, suitable for small aircraft installation. The antenna (with size 700 x 700 mm) is constituted by 4 x 4 array of planar suspended-patch radiating elements with double linear polarization.

K-band radar antennas (ISM-band from 24 to 24.250 GHz). WaveComm has developed and realized novel antennas for Doppler and FMCW (Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave) radar applications : dielectric-lens horn, microstrip array, Fabry-Perot cavity antenna.

The innovative system I5S (Innovative Solution for Smart and Safe Solar Systems) for photovoltaic plants, will be presented for the first time at SolarExpo 2012, in Verona.
I5S, developed after an intense R&D activity of Wavecomm technical team, introduces innovative solutions for the management of photovoltaic plants, relevant to production efficiency (distributed MPPT optimization with proprietary algorithm, wireless monitoring of individual PV modules) and safety (arc fault detection and circuit interruption, remote shut-down of PV modules from the string for maintenance activities).
